Je t’attends sur un parking juste en face de l’hôtel Concorde la Fayette, okay ?

Pondok Bambu,

That was a phrase that I said to my ‘partner in crime’ Siska when I hung up my cellphone just after I hop off from the bus from Paris Beauvais airport to Paris centre. She and I were always dreaming of going abroad together back in university, and yes we did it two times (and hopefully we do more in the near future..) First we made a trip together and the next one was by living in Europe. Although we chose our own ways to move our lovely asses to that continent. v(‘و' ) A common thing was we sent papers to embassies, while I sent scholarship papers to Italian Embassy, Siska sent AuPair papers to the French one.
So, that night I felt so many emotions inside of me when I saw her run to me accompanied by a friend (J, 29 years old ^^). All I can say is we didn’t even care about what people thought at that time. We was just hugging for about 10 minutes at least. It was heavenly cold (I haven’t imagined before that Paris could be so cold), we two were too happy to not talking in high volume and hugging much while walking to the car. I can understand now why people say often ‘keep on dreaming ! one day dream will come true..)
That night we went directly to la tour Eiffel. I know that it wasn’t the first time for Siska to see Eiffel, but I think we had the same feeling at that moment. Happy with big H !! I think I would not as happy as I was if I came to Paris by myself or by other friends. I mean we learned all those Frenchie stuffs for 5 years together. Don’t you guys think it’s obviously normal if we acted just like drama queens for some moments? ^.^

Yey ! We did it (again) girl..
We stayed in J’s place. He made a dinner for us, crêpes à la française. Oh gosh ! I felt like in university again, in labo’s class. Where I had to hear people speak French as fast as wind. I was tested !! Okay, all I had to do was making a fast adaptation! (Don’t make your section française has shame on you ’. LOL sometimes I love it too much. Underline the word sometimes). So I could handle our conversations (even though I asked Siska quite often).
The day after we three went around Paris. J walked us around the city and explained us about things in Paris. We went to Musée du Louvre at noon  but it is too huge for one day visit and even less for a couple hours. But it was still nice day though.

We are separated with J after and walked down into l'avenue des Champs-Élysées. We decided to take café while waiting our metro to go to the train station because we had to catch the next train for Caen(the city where Siska lives).  For me it was the best moment  that I had from my Paris visit. We wrote post cards for our girls, Nabila and Anggi.
And our little ‘nice’ accident happened.. We were late to catch our train !! and it was the last one that went directly to Caen. We called Siska’s friends (the Indonesian ones who live in Paris) They are Adi and Ali. We were all panic because we didn’t know whether there were another train that pass Caen or no. We were all in the station, asked if there was still train to reach Caen, Thank God there was one train after midnight. So we decided to relax a lil bit and grabbed a drink in a bar. We chitchatted altogether in a tiny bar near the station, Siska, Ali, Adi, I and an I-don’t-even-remember-his-name guy.

the left one is Adi who lives in France since 10 years ago if I'm not mistaken
The guy named Ali is funny, he is Indonesian and has Indonesian face but he knows less about Indonesian vocabularies so much!! Jajajaja He didn’t even know what’s the meaning of KEDONDONG !! But hey he speaks Sundanese, what a surprise!

the left one is Ali (see? he has that Indonesian face!) and the right one is the I-dont-even-remember-what-his-name guy -__-'

In our conversation we (Siska and I) mentioned that we didn’t visit Moulin Rouge area yet. So the boys brought us to that area. It was quite fun we entered sex shops, passed some roadside brothels, and took photos in front of the Moulin Rouge famous windmill.

After we back to the station. In the midnight the boys made a surprise for Siska (it was her birthday actually). Ali bought six madeleines with a candle on them. Frankly I already felt something strange when Adi was on the phone talked with somebody and it was Ali (He asked about Siska’s surprise I guessed).

Our train arrived and we hopped on the train with aching feet, exhausted body but content soul.. we said goodbye and thanks to the boys. In the train we were oversleeping when a train controller asked our tickets and got confused with the hour written. Luckily we didn’t get any problem with it. It was kind of ‘cute’ story at the end I think..

                Happy  Journey !
